Innovation at the
service of construction.

Optimizing Construction Through Innovation

Two phases. Five technologies.
One continuous improvement loop.

ICE is committed to continuously integrating new technologies to improve both the design and construction phases, ensuring safety, efficiency and quality on every site. Every year, ICE adopts new solutions to stay at the forefront of the industry.

Design Phase

The challenge

3D renderings are sometimes misinterpreted by clients. Poor communication between architects, clients and execution teams leads to details being ignored or poorly executed on site. And 2D drawings don't let clients truly experience real volumes.

Construction Phase

The challenge

Stakeholders are often remote. Embedded elements become hidden once concrete is poured, making them impossible to verify or modify later, and information gets lost for maintenance or future extensions.

VR Headset for Collaboration

The VR headset was used to optimize our design process with our structural engineer, whose office is in Lebanon, and to clarify details and spatial configurations with the client, architect, and on-site execution team in Abidjan.

  • 01 Validate the design with the client before ground is broken.
  • 02 Improve communication between architect, client, structural engineer and site team.
  • 03 Conduct immersive visits during design to anticipate errors before construction begins.

Autodesk XR enables live virtual meetings inside the 3D building model, where participants collaborate in real time and add annotations directly during the session. This helps identify design clashes early and make faster, better-informed decisions.

Construction Phase

ICE360, powered by HoloBuilder

HoloBuilder is a digital platform used to document construction sites with 360° photos and virtual tours. It gives clients and architects a permanent, chronological image timeline of every project phase, viewable from anywhere.

Real-time monitoring

Photos are available instantly, fully documenting progress.

Visual coordination

Compare 360° photos with BIM models and schedules.

Embedded works archive

Cables, conduits & pipes documented before they're poured over.

Annotate & coordinate

Mark up images directly to resolve issues with remote teams.

Case Study — Villa Y

Regular consultant updates via 360° images, remote verification of completed works, and archiving of embedded works in concrete.

Case Study — SCI Assamaray

Substructure documentation (underground tanks, manholes) using the "split" function, plus detailed plumbing reports.

Case Study — SIMAC Warehouse

Aerial 360° capture gave a comprehensive overview of a large-scale industrial development.

More Technology on Site

Precision, traceability & control.

FARO LiDAR Scanning

LiDAR scanning captures highly accurate as-built conditions of complex facilities, including structural, civil and MEP systems. This enables precise coordination, early clash detection and reliable measurement to support prefabrication with minimal on-site adjustments. It also powers real-time slab flatness verification, alignment checks and installation accuracy validation.

Fieldwire

A construction project management platform that centralizes all project data. Every team shares documents from a single source, tracks task progress in real time, and communicates through daily reports, snag lists and RFIs. Every decision, comment and update is recorded and traceable for full transparency.

Laser Screed

The Laser Screed machine uses a laser guidance system to automatically level fresh concrete with high precision, ensuring controlled flatness and level tolerances across large industrial slabs and heavy-duty platforms. It also improves operational safety, structural performance and drainage under heavy loads in aggressive environments.
